I have always been interested by the science of sleep and our natural rhythms however this interest was piqued when I travelled half way around the world to Bangkok. This was the first time in my adult life I had experience such an extreme shift in time zones as well as living on my own in a new country. This shift made me more aware of my surroundings and nature as I lay awake at night, my body clock slowly shifting, I wanted to find out more.

In this project I will examine our natural rhythms and cycles while discovering the new urban environment I find myself within. Throughout the course of my time completing this project I want to explore my own personal philosophies on sound, noise, health, sleep and share this through my work.
